A CAKE WALK

Last year I married in Joshua Tree, California.

Leading up to our wonderful day we spent some time in some pretty cool places.
We enjoyed the color scapes of Palm Springs and the desert of Joshua Tree. Joshua Tree by far has been one of the most amazing places I have ever been.
We spent a month in Palm Springs. For me the colours were something I didn’t want to leave behind. The straight lines and defined edges of its landscape is something to be experienced.

On the last day of our stay in Palm Springs, Sandy and I were to pick up a little package for our upcoming wedding. Cake Samples from a wonderful baker who bakes straight out of the beautiful shade of the palms. Unknowingly we were walking into the thick of pride week where a huge gathering took place. I couldn’t help but get my camera out and take some photos.

While carrying a box of cake samples and the bridal flowers we navigated through the bright colors of these streets observing the flow of human traffic and human nature.
